As teachers, we are inspired by student voice…

Our student voices…

Evviva La Musica was created by Grace Bone, specialist teacher at Our Lady Of The Way school in Petrie, Qld.

It’s a celebration of learning and teaching in her Music and Italian Language lessons from 2015 to 2020.

Listening to student voice was paramount in planning engaging learning experiences both in Music and Italian.

In the words of the students: “We like listening to the stories in Italian that you tell. We like singing all the songs in Italian. It’s a lot of fun. The Italian language has its own rhythm. It’s musical. It helps us remember the words.”
